When it comes to coffee in general for most people it is about the aroma, even if you don’t realize it, when scientists have stripped it down enough they find that what is really enjoyed is the aroma itself- because the aroma is actually the essence of the flavor you truly love.

Most coffee companies know this, and relish in the concept of brewing truly beautifully aromatic mugs full. But Lavazza has never been a company simply satisfied with being like the rest. Lavazza has had one mission since its founding, that mission: to spread the aroma and quality of true Italian espresso around the world.
Since the day its founder Luigi Lavazza left Monferrato Italy with no more than 50 lire in his pocket, hard work and ingenuity have been the infrastructure of Lavazza coffee. Though the company wasn’t founded until 1894, Lavazza was learning the qualities and characteristics that he would require of himself and his coffee.

In 1910 Luigi Lavazza realized that he had one product in his small grocery store that seemed to be simply soaring over the rest, and in that desire to be set apart from the others, he began to focus himself in and with coffee as his main concern he began to experiment with blending coffee flavors.
Now days Lavazza’s company remains in Turin, Italy, roasting their coffee in cutting edge facilities, proud to boast the worlds highest concentration of advanced coffee technology. Lavazza has perfected the process so well, and kept up eith technology so skillfully that their factory is run by computers.

From the sacks of freshly harvested green coffee beans, to pallets of newly packaged roasted coffee it is centrally monitored. Special attention is given to every bean as they pass through inspection, only the best coffee beans will ever leave the factory.

If there are any imperfections the bean is set aside, and all the beans that pass inspection proceed to be roasted in air convection roasters ensuring that no bean is ever scorched.
When it comes to tasting a Lavazza espresso, the words used are delicious, unique, full.

It has been the intentions of Lavazza to never lessen their speed, to never falter in their delivery of perfection they enjoy it too much and are too passionate about great tasting espresso now. Lavazza offers a wide variety of espresso, from whole bean, to ground, to espresso pods.

Each with different blends, flavors and style. Lavazza Whole Bean Espresso comes in Grand, Super Crema, Top Class, Pienaroma, Gold selection, and Gran Riserva. In the pods one can find regular and decafe, and much, much more.
Needless to say, since its very inception Lavazza has continued to grow without ceasing, and has become known to many in the world as Italy’s leading espresso company. Not many companies can say that they have been around for over 100 years, but Lavazza regards it as a reminder to never stop working hard, and always remain innovative and creative as they continue to pursue their mission statement, bringing Italy’s espresso aroma to the world with unmatched quality.
